Spend New Year's Eve camping at Cockatoo Island

End 2019 on a high with our NYE Experience at Cockatoo Island. For one night only, ticketholders will have exclusive access to the island as guests in our waterfront campground.

There will be multiple food and bar outlets as well as an exciting program of entertainment, including live music, DJs, tours and activities.

Best of all? Attendees will spend the biggest night of the year in the heart of Sydney Harbour, basking in the city’s world famous NYE fireworks!

Camping packages and BYO tent passes

There are four different camping areas:

• City View
• Woolwich View
• Slipway Precinct
• Memorial Park

There are two different camping options this year. Guests can choose from one of our camping packages (includes a pre-erected tent) or BYO tent (AKA site only) passes.

Booking Conditions

• Members of the public cannot access the island if they have not purchased a camping or accommodation package. A Parking & Shuttle voucher is not a substitute for a valid camping ticket.
• This year each camping ticket will come with an allocation of general admission tickets. Every person must have a general admission ticket to access the island.
• If you require parking & shuttle access you must purchase a Parking & Shuttle voucher during checkout. Guests will not be able to access parking or the shuttle without it.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• No refunds are permitted.
• Tickets can be transffered into another persons name up to 14 days before the event by logging into your Outix account. 
• The maximum number of occupants for each site cannot be exceeded.

Parking & Shuttle Voucher - $125

Parking is not included in the ticket price and must be purchased as an add-on.

Parking is at our Site at Hunters Hill, next to the Hunters Hill Sailing club. We will provide transfer to the island from the parking area and also return you to the same location on New Year's Day.

This service is only available to arrivals from 9am - 3pm on the 31st December.

Return shuttles will be available from 7am - 12noon on the 1st January.

The shuttle is only available to campers who have parked their vehicle in our car park and have purchase a parking voucher.

Each car park ticket is limited to one car and up to 6 persons. If you have additional people or cars you will need to book multiple tickets for car parking /shuttle.

PLEASE NOTE: The Parking & Shuttle Pass is not a substitute for a valid camping ticket, which is required to access Cockatoo Island.
